We had a take away delivered whilst staying at Sandylands caravan park. The food arrived promptly. The sauces on both curries (chicken saag and jalfrezzi) were phenomenally tasty and the chicken was incredibly tender and succulent. There was also generous amount. Highly recommend it.

Popped into Motherland Spice after a rehearsal at Studio 5 and we're really glad we did. The food was excellent and the service levels were evert bit as good. First time I've been to this restaurant and glad we did. Would highly recommend this restaurant if you like a good tasty curry. Brilliant

No but you will love the food here. The staff are friendly and efficient and it is a busy wee restaurant - especially for Saltcoats area. Seems to me plenty of car parking outside and in the area. Toilets are clean - but the food is truly excellent.

Food is always top notch and there’s something for everyone!! I normally always get the chicken tempura then I like to go for a jalfrezi and a side of rice, Nan and chips to share. Then followed by ice cream. It’s good value at lunchtime but remember it’s only on from 12-2 pm!!! I’ve came numerous times and have been stung by this. My only complaint is the noise since it’s rather small in size the noise can be a bit overwhelming at times especially when you’re trying to speak.

A wee treat night, been dying to try this wee Gem for a long time and had the perfect occasion tonight. The restaurant is lovely, the staff are so welcoming, friendly and very attentive I have to say this is the most amazing Indian food we have ever eaten (we have tried a few ) highly recommend the table buffet you won’t be disappointed and was completely shocked when the bill arrived much much less than we expected for an evening If you like Indian food this wee place is a MUST !!

Gorgeous restaurant which was very clean and well managed. All the staff are very nice and the food is amazing. I've never had a naan that colour before and I was pleasantly surprised ... so good! Loved my chicken tikka and all the other flavours. Easily a 5 star and I definitely recommend

Went here for my girlfriends birthday while on holiday. The food was amazing and the staff were very friendly and were really nice to the kids, making them feel welcome. I had chicken tikka chasni which had the most chicken I've ever had in a curry which was a pleasant change from usual and was very affordable at under 10 for the curry. My girlfriend had the chicken tikka masala and enjoyed it, taking the rest home as the portion was so big. Will definitely be returning if we are here again.
